About me

Welcome to this page. I really appreciate you are visiting. I am an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the Department of Marketing & Strategy at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE).
My research examines strategy and innovation as evolving practices and processes, with a particular emphasis on qualitative and process-based research methods. My work has been published in Research Policy, Long Range Planning, and the Global Strategy Journal, among others. I serve as an Associate Editor at Long Range Planning and as a Guest Editor at Organization Studies.
Within the Strategic Management Society (SMS), I serve as an Associate Program Chair in the Strategy Practice Interest Group.
Before joining SSE, I earned my PhD from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. I was a postdoctoral research fellow at BI Norwegian Business School and have held visiting positions at VU Amsterdam, University College Dublin, King’s College London, Warwick Business School, and Stanford University.
In addition to my research pursuits, I have extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels. I teach mainly Strategy Management. I strive to cultivate students’ analytical, critical, and creative thinking by encouraging discussions on challenging topics, fostering the curiosity to ask questions, and establishing connections between theory and practice. I draw on the data collected as part of my research; for example, I authored a teaching case study on the 2015 wartime management of the Ukraine subsidiary of a global pharmaceutical company published by IVEY Publishing.
I have gained industrial experience in international companies like the Rewe Group, Hilton Hotels UK, RHI Global AG, and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. These experiences drove my interest in the management and conducting of research of experts and organizations.
