Talking about processes of failing in the classroom and next to the seaside

I followed an invitation to give a talk at the University of Ljubljana, School of Business and Economics, Miha Škerlavaj, and ended up having research talks by the seaside. It was a rewarding experience to present my paper, "Anatomy of an Innovation Failure," with Davide Nicolini, to receive highly valuable feedback from SBE faculty and also inspiration as I walked through the charming streets of Ljubljana and experienced how beautiful the Slovenian seaside is. I’m sure there are challenges too, but the impression of how well Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia work on preserving cultural uniqueness while also reducing borders as they share the same sea has truly amazed me.
