Since April 2021 Davide (Nicolini) and I are hosting the BI Qualitiative Research Forum. So far mainly almost monthly zoom sessions with scholars from all over the world (among others: Karen Golden-Biddle, Jennifer Howard-Grenville, Joep Cornelissen, Santi Furnari, Natalia Levina, Arne Carlsen, Ann Langley). Today, we finally hosted a physical event with more than 70 people from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark and Richard Whittington, Martin Friesl amd Inger Stensaker as our keynote speakers.

Should we replicate or repeat qualitative research studies? Data are not an amazonparcel that can simply be collected: It includes relationship building.

Richard continues the discussion from his recent @ASQJournal: Decoupling Transparency from Replication in Establishing Trustworthy Qualitative Research.

Inger and Martin create a model showing the different types of interactions when collecting qualitative data. The model reveals the complexity of interactions feeding into each other - all of it being data.

It was amazing to share and discuss our work 🎉🥳🙌
